With the so-called consignment of goods, certain items such as books, small electrical appliances and spare parts, textiles and similar goods can be sent particularly cheaply. This is a special service offered by Deutsche Post. Consignments of goods can be sent with DHL at a lower price than, for example, small packages or parcels. However, different regulations apply to these shipments. For example, consignments of goods may not weigh more than one kilo.
